If our unique Planet Earth is provide succour for future generations we need to respect everything about it respect for others, all life, property, law, and the environment which can be summed up in Peace on Earth.
We all need to highlight all these areas but come together as one voice as peace communities, peace cities and peace countries in a peaceful world, helping other communities as we have seen in the recent Tsunami disaster.
May Peace Prevail on Earth
Peace Cities is a project to proclaim Peace Comminities. Knox the first Peace City in Victoria and one of the few Peace Cities in the world so many other cities will follow this formula. Form a group to start your Peace Community, or Peace City Project as part of a Peace World committed to the Culture of Peace .Peace is not just the absence of war but is a state of mind in each person which is influenced in a negative way by war, hatred, violence, fundamentalist religion, etc. etc. or in a positive way by goodwill, tolerance, justice, respect for others, life, beliefs, property, the law and the environment etc.
Please register by filling out the form below, your commitment to help promote the culture of peace and a caring, safer community and ask all your contacts, schools, community service clubs, sporting clubs, churches, etc, to join in promoting peace values in the community to enable the proclamation of you Peace City.
The Peace City Project is already supported by People for Peace, the Knights of the Southern Cross, The Rotary Club of Ferntree Gully, Constable Mick Omara from the Boronia Police, Alan Kennedy from Knox Police, ERA TV Ch31 and other Peace Partners to enhance the richness of community that will qualify Knox as a City of Peace.
Plant a Peace Pole or dedicate a tree at your school, in your community, at your church and organise a dedication ceremony at least once a year.
